It is very refreshing to find a non-fiction book that is written in a way that is so appealing to its target audience. What’s the Weather is packed with easy to understand information and bright, colourful illustrations that will appeal to all children.

Fraser and Judith Ralston are experts in the field of meteorology; he is a meteorologist and she is a former weather presenter. They have used their combined experience to create this wonderful book for children. The explanations within the text are easy to understand and will satisfy the curiosity of inquisitive young minds. I learned a lot as well! This book is definitely a must for every Primary classroom and library. It covers a wide range of weather related topics and is very relevant to today’s world, especially with global warming and climate change being so much in the news.

I will certainly be using What’s the Weather in my classroom and look forward to sharing it with my class. Thank you for asking me to review this book.
