Cara spends her days doing cowgirl things. She’s great at everything except roping; no matter how hard she practices, she can’t quite get it right.  When Cara is given the job of town Sheriff while all the cowboys, her dad and the real sheriff take the cows to market, Black Jake. the  most evil outlaw of all, rides into town to rob the bank, can Cara save the day?  Will she be able to capture Black Jake with her lasso?

I liked this book because Cara is brave and faces Black Jake the robber.  She can cook and even knit a scarf while riding her horse too!  It’s funny too when Cara catches Black Jake with her lasso.
